Owning a modular building is a great way to create extra space for education or business purposes, however ensuring that it is secure at all times is something to be thought of. You usually won’t even think about securing it unlike main buildings on your premises, however making sure that it is theft-proof is essential.Although our anti-theft modular buildings are extremely safe and secure due to being made from steel, you may want to go that extra mile to protect your equipment for your own piece of mind.

Installing a CCTV System
You may already have CCTV on your property, however installing a camera on your modular building is an ideal way of deterring thieves and preventing them from breaking into your property initially. Should a thief succeed on entering, you will have clear footage of the event occurring, which will make it much easier to track down suspects once taken to the police.
Installing an Alarm System
Installing an alarm system to deter thieves is also a good idea. You are either able to connect it to the mains supply via an AC adapter or go for a battery powered option. The noise is usually so severe and high-pitched that thieves shouldn’t be able to stand the noise for very long.
Instead of leaving your windows uncovered, revealing your modular building’s entire contents, it may be an option to fit curtains so that thieves are unable to have a snoop at your possessions. It will be obvious that the building is vacant during the evenings, therefore thieves can easily use a torch to catch a glimpse of what they want and plan a theft from your property soon after.
Other methods of security to think of may include turnstiles, access barriers and intercom systems. These are of course exterior features outside of the modular building located on your premises but ensures that your building is that little bit more secure.
